Questions people ask

What is the best way to study with flashcards?

Answer each card from memory before flipping, grade yourself honestly, and repeat missed cards sooner than known ones. Spread sessions over several days instead of cramming. That combines active recall with spacing, the two strategies with the strongest research support.

What do the boxes mean?

They are Leitner boxes. A card climbs one box each time you get it right and falls back to box 1 when you miss it. Cards in low boxes need more practice; cards in box 5 are ones you know well.

Does the AI tutor see my whole deck?

No. When you press an AI button, only the front and back of the current card are sent to generate the explanation. Nothing is stored.

Can I study a deck someone shared with me?

Yes. Open their share link and the deck loads here as “shared”. Save it from the maker page if you want to keep it.
