Moving your sets over
- In Quizlet, open a set you own and use its export option to copy the terms (tab between term and definition, new line between cards).
- On the flashcard maker, choose “Paste a list” and paste. The tab separator is detected automatically.
- Save, and the deck is ready for study mode and games.
When Quizlet is still the better fit
- You want to find ready-made sets for a textbook instead of making your own.
- You need your sets synced automatically across phone, laptop and school computer.
- Your teacher runs Quizlet Live or assigns sets through Quizlet classes.
If none of those apply, making your own cards is a better way to learn anyway: writing a card is itself a round of active recall. Our guide on how to make flashcards covers the rules.
Other free Quizlet alternatives
