Multiplayer study game
Quiz your friends from any flashcard deck. Play together on one screen, from the couch or on a classroom projector, or send a challenge link so everyone plays the exact same questions on their own phone.
Each player gets their own question in turn and taps an answer. Right answers score 100 plus a speed bonus when the timer is on.
How to run a study game with friends
In one room
Put the game on a laptop or TV, pick “Buzz in”, and split into teams. Read the question aloud, let people shout, and tap the team that got it first. For a study group around one phone, “Take turns” passes the phone and gives everyone their own question.
Apart, on your own phones
Create a challenge link and drop it in the group chat. The deck and the question order live inside the link, so every player sees identical questions in the same order, and scores are directly comparable. There is no room to join and nothing to install.
Why there is no join code
Live rooms with join codes need a server that holds everyone’s answers and a database of games. StudyBlitz deliberately keeps nothing about you on a server, so it uses shared screens and challenge links instead. Questions people ask
How do I play a study quiz with friends online?
Make a deck, open the Challenge link tab and share the link. Everyone who opens it plays the same 10 questions in the same order and can copy their result back into your chat.
How many people can play?
Same-screen games support 2 to 8 players or teams. A challenge link has no limit: anyone with the link can play.
Do players need an account or app?
No. Everything runs in the browser. Nobody signs up and nothing is installed.
Can teachers use this in class?
Yes. Use “Buzz in” on the projector with teams, or share a challenge link for homework review. The Jeopardy game maker is another classroom favourite.
Can someone cheat on a challenge link?
Yes, the answers are in the deck. Challenge links are for friendly competition, not graded tests.
