How to use a Jeopardy template

  1. Pick a template above and press Play this board. It opens in the Jeopardy game maker with every clue filled in.
  2. Change anything that doesn’t fit your class: categories, clues, answers or the final clue.
  3. Add your teams, choose the rules (Daily Double, deductions, timer, final wagers) and press Build the board.
  4. Want to keep your edited version? Press Copy share link and bookmark it, or send it to a colleague.

Online template vs PowerPoint or Google Slides

Slide-deck Jeopardy templates need 25 or more linked slides, and you have to edit each one and keep track of used clues and scores by hand. An online board does the bookkeeping for you: used clues disappear, scores sit on screen, and the Daily Double and final round are built in. If your school requires slides, you can still use these clue sets as a starting point.

Make a template from your own lessons

The best review board uses the vocabulary and questions from your own unit. Make one flashcard deck per topic, or paste your notes into the AI flashcard generator. Then pick “My flashcard decks” in the game maker, and each deck becomes a category.
